Problem
ACCTA was unable to attract new members and manage those members as well as it would have liked. Its website was significantly outdated in terms of design and functionality. The system in place was unable to register and manage the more complex parts of its organization. This kept ACCTA from operating at maximum efficiency online and offline. The Association approached Clarity with the requirements of creating a fully functional and integrated membership management and registration system.
Benefits
The Microsoft based all-in-one system allowed ACCTA to automate almost all of the conference and member registration process. The completely renovated site design created new online credibility that the Association did not have in the past, which allowed them to more easily recruit new members. Since the membership management was completely integrated into the site, the ACCTA team was able to oversee its entire online operation from a single dashboard including the online training system, detailed user management, and security features. The site's automated technical search engine optimization elements allowed the site to rank higher for relevant keywords and be found by more potential members.
Solution
Clarity and ACCTA teamed up to correctly document and organize the requirements and timelines of the project. Clarity delivered an all-in-one Microsoft based membership registration and management system that is held together by clean and consistent branding across the site. The new design encouraged new sign-ups with effective calls-to-action. Clarity implemented a deep, detailed, and secure member and conference registration system into the site that returned valuable data to ACCTA and allowed them to streamline almost all of the sign-up process. The new site is highly secure, with built-in SSL certificates and a daily Trustwave security audit. The secure registration process has multi-tiered fee levels, which dynamically update the cost total in real time on the page. The site also included an integrated voting module and a members only online training system.
Technologies
Microsoft ASP.Net and custom DotNetNuke Community edition framework for complete member registration and management functionality. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 was utilized for optimal database performance. Clarity customized the DotNetNuke Community framework with ASP.Net to fit the requirements of this project.
