Problem
The Walt Disney Florida Resident site needed to be both multi-lingual and iPhone/iPad ready. The site also needed a complete facelift and redesign that matched the 2011 Disney branding and messaging. All of this needed to be complete within 2 months and Disney needed the new site hosted on an enterprise/scalable hosting platform.
Benefits
The resulting site delivered a mobile friendly design allowing Disney to focus on getting the word out about the site instead of having to worry about details like whether someone would browse from a mobile phone or not. With the multilingual ASP.Net content management system, the Disney team could rest at ease knowing that regardless of a visitor's preferred language, they would be able to make a purchase online from the site (the site focuses on ticket sales for the Florida based theme parks).
Solution
In order to deliver on Disney's need for animation that would display on iPhone and iPad, Clarity leveraged cutting edge jQuery animation libraries to prevent dependancy on Flash libraries. Clarity worked closely with partner company Brandica to deliver a design that seamlessly matched the rest of the Disney 2011 theme. Clarity delivered all of this on a proven platform for the Disney team providing an ASP.Net CMS system with multi-lingual capability, hosted on a reliable Windows server with automated nightly backups and 3 minute site up time checks.
