The keyword density of a page is very important as the google search engine tries to rank the web pages that are the best match for a specific user’s query. It is one of the most important components of google’s ranking algorithm.

To rank higher your web page on google search results pages (SERP), it needs to understand what your content is all about. This is the reason you shall incorporate your keywords along with their related keywords or the keywords you want to rank your website for.

For example, if you want your web page to rank for the main keyword ‘skin diseases’ you need to use this keyword often in your content. And also the keywords you want to rank for that are related to it such as skin disease treatment, dangerous skin diseases, rare skin diseases, and genetic skin diseases, etc.

But, remember not to add the main keyword too many times that it may give a signal to Google that you are doing keyword stuffing. The number of occurrences of the main keyword and its related keywords shall be moderate and not too less nor too much.
