Wish lists can be set up however you — or your client — chooses. Sometimes the wish list can be configured into a shopping list, which differs slightly from a typical wish list.
In most eCommerce business interactions, an item is removed from the wish list as soon as it is purchased. In contrast, shopping lists are a more permanent list than a wish list. Shopping lists can offer clients a place to put items that they need to purchase repeatedly, whether that’s every two weeks or every two years. These items may be perishable, or they could be consumables. The list might also be used sporadically, such as by a franchisee who needs to order a specific list of items whenever they open a new restaurant. Of course, items should be able to move between wish lists and shopping lists, and they should all feed into the shopping cart.
