What Does Auditing a User Login Mean?

Auditing a user login means, quite simply, being able to view each individual user’s access to the CRM as they hit your server. Dynamics CRM records the activities of your users in real-time, recording information like the time at which the user accessed the CRM, which information they accessed, and whether the access came from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM web application, Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook, or SDK calls to the CRM web services. This is beneficial in a number of ways and helps maintain the security and integrity of sensitive data. Those activities are logged to the user's contact record as activities, so your sales people can easily view what their customers are doing. With and integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM on your site, storefront, portals, marketplaces and more, you could log all user activities from any of those sites to your CRM, turning your CRM into a goldmine of sales insights.
