This is beneficial in a number of ways and helps maintain the security and integrity of sensitive data. Those activities are logged to the user's contact record as activities, so your sales people can easily view what their customers are doing. How to Audit a User Login
Auditing a user login means, quite simply, being able to view each individual user’s access to the CRM as they hit your server.
To audit user login access, follow these steps:
- Click Settings --> Auditing
- Select Global Audit Settings
- In the Systems Settings form, check the box marked "Audit User Access." From there, you can view all of the details you need to in the Audit Summary View grid, or retrieve a record of user logins via the Microsoft Dynamics CRM SDK. Contact Clarity if you need help with this.
