How Clarity Connects Systems: WooCommerce and Epicor

Intro (display slide-both.jpg) :07-:47

Hi, Ron from Clarity. This video will demonstrate a few of the workflows from our WooCommerce to Epicor E10 integration solution. This client, Zephyr Sleep Technologies wanted a quick and custom integration to automate their sales orders from their online WooCommerce storefront into their Epicor E10 ERP.

They also wanted us to build some custom fields and links when processing the order, which we’ll show you during the demo.

As a modular architecture, once we develop a connector to an application, that allows us to integrate any application to that app. So we can integrate Clarity eCommerce to any CRM, ERP and Supply Chain, or integrate any storefront, omnichannel or portal to NAV using the connectors we’re demoing here.

WooCommerce order sync

For this demo, I’ve already processed an order that you can see here. Recorded by user Lance Schmidt, order #83020, for $175.

Let’s fire up Connect, by launching the Hangfire dashboard. Jumping into the Recurring Jobs, you can see the first job, which syncs all order and shipping statuses from Epicor to WooCommerce, but the job we’ll kick off syncs the WooCommerce orders into Epicor.

We look in the processing queue and find our job, drill into the details to see that it’s picked up and is processing our order #83020. Within a few seconds, it’s been processed and is showing succeeded.

Epicor Order Created

So let’s go into Epicor. We’ll search for order entry to find our section and launch it. Once open, we’ll click Sales order, then search, and click on our order that was just processed. Once open, we’ll click on the Counter Sale detail to see the $175 line item that we ordered, then click on the Additional Info tab, which displays some custom information we’ve brought over with the order. You can see the Woo Order number #83020, the Tax from Woo, if collected, the WooCommerce userid.

Over on the Header tab, you can see that we’ve entered “Clarity” as the entity who entered the order into Epicor. This helps them track online orders vs email, fax and phone in orders more easily.

And finally, back on the Additional info tab, we’ve dynamically created a Details button, that if clicked, launches back into WooCommerce to this order’s details page directly.

Summary 4:50-5:44

So, in summary:

We placed an order in WooCommerce in the online store.

We then sync’d the order to Epicor, which is now automated for the client.

We then checked Epicor to see that the order was created.

And finally, we viewed the order details, which included some custom fields that were brought from WooCommerce, as well as the “entered by Clarity” and the custom link created, that links back to the order inside of Woo, which ensures that the sales reps can find the original order the customer placed, if there are any issues.

So that’s a quick view of Clarity Connect’s WooCommerce to Epicor E10 integration.

Thanks for watching.
