Benefits of Robust Integration

Clarity Connect™ is Clarity's proprietary integration platform, enabling fast, secure and versatile integration with every aspect of your business. Clarity's use of Microsoft's eConnect ensures your integration is done right. Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains commonly uses eConnect as it's integration product, however, Clarity's found many times that eConnect is not enough to access all of the custom entities and data within the GP system, so Clarity had to build a second GP Connector, accessing GP via it's web services directly.

Here are just a few of the benefits of an integrated eCommerce GP solution:

  • Real-time Microsoft Great Plains - web integration for data access as needed
  • Contact to Account authentication
  • Customer-specific (multi-tiered) pricing available online
  • Real-time and accurate stock quantities and pricing
  • Automated Sales Order to fulfillment
  • Custom split and drop-shipping
  • Real-time shipping estimates for both domestic and international carriers
  • Split orders to multiple vendors for different warehouses or vendor shipping
  • Automated customer invoicing and invoice payments
  • Integrated Returns processing
  • Custom quoting and quotes submissions
  • Sales trending and purchasing tracking for Sales insight
  • much, much more

Additional eCommerce & Integration Resources

For more than 15 years, Clarity has been producing eCommerce solutions integrated with back-office ERPs. We've done pretty much every ERP, but we were doing so many Dynamics GP integrations that we went and became a Microsoft Dynamics Certified Partner more than 10 years ago. As mentioned above, Clarity Connect has two different GP connectors, for connecting with either eConnect or directly to GP web services. If you're looking for more information on a GP connection, such as Microsoft Dynamics GP warehouse automation, or Dynamics eCommerce, you can watch the video below.

Clarity provides extra documentation, demo videos, and case studies so you can see our integration expertise for yourself and see how Clarity makes a difference. Throughout the process Clarity provides you with the information you need. FAQs

How Does Clarity Integrate with GP?

The Clarity Connect platform has connectors, similar to plug-ins, that the integration platform uses to communicate with GP. Clarity has a connector for eConnect, which is for highly robust and potentially custom integrations, providing access to all data within the GP system. Clarity also has a web services connector, that can speak to the GP web services directly, which is faster and less expensive, but has limitations. Mostly, it does not have access to all of the data within the GP system, especially any that were added via custom entities.

What is Microsoft Dynamics GP?

In short, it's one of Microsoft's ERP offerings for small to mid-sized companies. Dynamics GP software is a business management system that provides growing and mid-sized organizations with complete financial and operational solutions. Built for a wide variety of management needs, it boasts over 1,000 SQL tables, which can handle everything from fulfillment, inventory control, financial accounting, customer-specific tiered pricing and much more.
