Clarity Ventures Adds Custom Quoting and Advanced Invoicing to CEF

Custom Quoting and Invoicing Made Easy

Austin, TX — October 20, 2020 — Clarity Ventures has announced advanced invoicing and quoting abilities on CEF, its proprietary eCommerce framework for B2B.

In order to retain clients, more and more businesses are offering the ability to purchase on terms. This often starts from a custom quote, turns into an order, and is followed up by invoicing the client. This can make a lot of manual work for the business, sometimes requiring additional staff. That's why Clarity has added enhanced quoting and invoicing into its core eCommerce platform, CEF.

A popular addition to this list of features allows a customer to import a spreadsheet with hundreds of items that they want quoted, offering painless and straightforward pricing for custom orders. Making it as easy as possible to get a quote is a huge win for improving customer retention. Another feature fully automates invoicing, allowing the customer to be automatically notified when an invoice is ready for payment. It can then offer the ability to immediately pay by credit card, including the ability — with a single click — to see every invoice that's unpaid and pay any amount on each invoice at the same time.

"This has been a game-changer for our B2B clients," said Ron Halversen, VP Sales and Marketing at Clarity. "Custom invoicing is very common in B2B eCommerce businesses, and is becoming more popular with B2C as well. Businesses are always looking for a way to improve their customer service without adding more employees, and this new capability has been great for helping our clients do just that."

As part of the B2B landscape and online purchasing, quoting can be a critical aspect from a technical perspective, because the workflows are different than the standard ordering workflows. “Enabling the right governance and the right workflows is key,” said Chris Reddick, President and CEO. “We've enabled a very robust coding system that allows a proven, standard workflow, but it can be modified for any client’s specific needs.”

This includes the ability to integrate with an ERP or CRM and leverage its quoting system, providing a detailed visualization of the quote history and any invoicing that has occurred. Also included is the ability to attach large and complex files such as engineering diagrams to aid in the quoting process. Reddick continues, “We've worked many different scenarios, even multi-gigabyte-sized holographic imagery that gets quoted. We work to automate this as much as we can while still accommodating any remaining manual steps in an easy-to-interact-with format.”

Many of Clarity's clients will bring in B2B invoicing from their ERP or CRM system into Clarity’s eCommerce framework. Doing so allows the client’s customer to pay a partial amount of an invoice, a full invoice, or multiple invoices. They can even partially pay multiple invoices. This is a key offering for self-service for end customers and their clients.

Clarity continues to upgrade its eCommerce offering to meet the needs of the most demanding scenarios that clients bring. For a live demo of custom invoicing, give us a call or visit the website and schedule a demo.
