Clarity Ventures Improves Ease of Ordering and Reordering

New Ordering Features on Its eCommerce Platform

Austin, TX — March 12, 2019 — Clarity Ventures has announced ordering and re-ordering improvements to CEF, its flagship eCommerce platform. 

Studies have shown that ease of ordering can be even more important than price for customers. To help our clients support their customers better, Clarity has added more ways to its eCommerce framework to make ordering — and reordering — easier than ever. Clarity has done this by adding new UI/UX elements that improve the ordering experience.  

"This has been our clients' favorite feature in a very long time," said Ron Halversen, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Clarity. "Providing more than seven unique, out-of-the-box ways for customers to quickly order and reorder items has been instrumental for helping our clients increase revenue. Equally important is that it improves client satisfaction and retention."  

Some of the reorder capabilities are long-offered back-end standards such as Favorites and Wish Lists. More recent additions include a custom "Quick Add" interface in the checkout screen. Without having to use the catalog, any purchaser can quickly enter any part of a product's SKU, a short description, or a product’s title. The engine will show them everything in the catalog that matches that search, allowing them to add it to the cart with a single click.  

Another new feature is the ability to create custom lists on the product details page. These could be for needs like "monthly office purchases," "annual yard maintenance," "lighting package for the Halversen home project," and more.  

Clarity’s latest version of its eCommerce platform also has an easy ordering option for the largest customer. Customers can import a spreadsheet of the items they want to purchase — this could be thousands of items — that can link every line item on all quotes, orders, and invoices. Such customers can then order any of those items they choose, up to and including clicking the “Order All” button.  

“Our latest version of CEF provides options that enable specific logic around the reordering options that are seamlessly tied to any payments a returning customer wishes to use,” says Chris Reddick, President and CEO. “This will commonly involve enabling specific logic around the payment. This can include paying by credit card, debit card, ACH, or wire. Many clients will also allow payment via purchase order for certain accounts, and they'll go ahead and fulfill these payments if the account has credit available or has passed through an approval process. We specialize in catering the system to the client's business model.”
