Worldpay, global acquiring at enterprise scale
Worldpay is one of the largest merchant acquirers in the world, global card-processing and gateway capacity across 175+ countries and 150+ currencies, with a footprint that spans enterprise retailers, platforms, airlines, marketplaces, and B2B distributors at industrial scale. Whatever size your deployment, Worldpay's acquiring capacity is almost certainly not the bottleneck. The bottleneck is usually the distance between Worldpay's transaction record and your ERP's AR subledger, and between "we can accept a card" and "we can accept a card the way our industry actually needs it accepted."
That is precisely where Clarity Payment Hub earns its place. Payment Hub turns Worldpay's raw global acquiring capacity into an ERP-integrated, industry-specific payment stack: 25+ ERP connectors across every major platform, a branded self-service customer portal, Pay-on-Account with multi-invoice consolidation, tokenized recurring and auto-pay, CEDP-ready Level 3 auto-enrichment on every eligible commercial card, and industry-specific flows purpose-built for B2B distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofits, education, government, professional services, and subscription businesses. None of these are things Worldpay ships out of the box. All of them are what makes Worldpay usable as a B2B/vertical payment platform.
Payment methods at the gateway are complete: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, UnionPay, Diners, card-present and card-not-present, 3DS2, ACH, bank-to-bank via Push-to-Account, Google Pay and Apple Pay, alternative payment methods, and FX across 150+ currencies. Payment Hub surfaces all of them as first-class options inside your ERP and inside the customer portal, not as raw processor features, but as the payment methods your AR team and your customers actually use.
The Global Payments transition: why a stable integration layer matters right now
Worldpay changed ownership twice in three years. For a finance and IT team that's just finished a gateway integration, that's the opposite of quiet. Here is a clean factual timeline of what happened, what hasn't, and what Payment Hub does about the parts that could change.
How Worldpay got here, and what comes next
How Payment Hub connects Worldpay to your ERP
Clarity Connect, the integration engine under Payment Hub, with 15+ years of active development, reads from and writes to your ERP in real time using each platform's supported API layer. Worldpay stays in control of authorization, tokenization, FX, settlement, and the card networks. Clarity stays in control of the ERP-side posting and the customer experience on top.
Inbound from ERP
Customers, contacts, open invoices with line items, account balances, credits, payment history, all in real time. This is the data that feeds Worldpay's enhanced-data submission on every eligible transaction, automatically.
Outbound to ERP
Applied cash receipts, tokenized wallet references, address updates, and Pay-on-Account allocations, posted the moment Worldpay confirms authorization. No overnight batch, no CSV import, no manual cash application.
Worldpay-side processing
Worldpay authorizes, tokenizes, runs 3DS2, handles FX, settles, and funds exactly as it does today. Clarity does not route funds, does not insert a spread, and does not skim basis points. Your Worldpay merchant statement is unchanged.
No ERP modifications
Clarity Connect uses only documented, supported integration points on each ERP. No schema changes, no custom code inside the ERP, no plugins that break on the next upgrade cycle. Works equally well with cloud ERPs and on-premise ERPs.
For cloud ERPs (NetSuite, Acumatica, Dynamics 365 BC, SAP S/4HANA Cloud) Clarity Connect talks directly to the ERP's cloud APIs. For on-premise systems (Dynamics GP/NAV, Sage 100/300, SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, SYSPRO, Epicor Prophet 21/Eclipse/Eagle) we use a lightweight outbound-only secure agent that calls from inside your network, no inbound firewall ports to open, no VPN tunnel required.
25+ ERPs, one Worldpay merchant account
Worldpay ships a global acquiring gateway. Clarity Payment Hub ships the ERP connectors, the portal, and the industry-specific workflow that turns that gateway into a first-class payment experience inside every major ERP on the market, all on the same Worldpay merchant account.
Same Worldpay account underneath all 25+. Whether a given subsidiary is on NetSuite, SAP ECC, or Dynamics GP, the Payment Hub connector handles the ERP-side AR posting, customer portal, and Level 3 enrichment, and the transaction flows through the same Worldpay merchant account, settles into the same bank account, reports on the same Worldpay statement, and qualifies for the same negotiated rates. Level 3 data is captured the same way, tokenization uses the same Worldpay vault, and recurring schedules use the same Worldpay token surface.
Payment Hub sits on top of your existing Worldpay merchant account and delivers a 48-hour go-live once ERP sandbox credentials are shared. Keep your MID, keep your rates, and see the exact industry-specific flow, for distribution, manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit, education, government, professional services, or subscription, in a 30-minute walkthrough.
The Missing LinkBetween Paymentsand Your ERP
Clarity Payment Hub closes that gap, connecting your orders, invoices, and payment channels into one flow.
Speak to a Platform ArchitectCEDP and Level 3: Worldpay accepts the fields. Payment Hub fires the data
Worldpay has received Visa's CEDP notices regarding merchants whose enhanced-data submissions fail validation, and the Worldpay developer portal documents a full CEDP error guide with error codes, descriptions, and remediation steps. The gateway is ready. The question on every Worldpay merchant's desk is whether every eligible transaction leaves with clean, validated Level 3 data.
What CEDP actually is
Visa's Commercial Enhanced Data Program launched in U.S. production on April 12, 2025. It replaces the previous Level 2 and Level 3 interchange structure, and the old Large-Ticket Non-GSA program, with a single validated-data regime. Eligible commercial, corporate, fleet, and purchasing card transactions that are submitted with complete, accurate enhanced data and can be validated by Visa Commercial Solutions qualify for the best interchange tier ("Product 3"). Transactions without validated data either don't qualify or actively pay more. Since October 17, 2025, Visa has been fully enforcing the new standards.
Where Payment Hub fits the Worldpay flow
Worldpay's Access Platform API and WPG both accept CEDP-compliant enhanced-data fields as part of the transaction payload, line-item detail, tax amounts, purchase order numbers, freight, customer codes, and ship-to/ship-from address data. Someone still has to send those fields on every transaction, and they have to match the invoice of record, or Visa fails validation. Payment Hub pulls that data directly from your ERP at authorization time, not from a merchant-maintained product catalog, not reconstructed from a basket, not re-keyed by an AR clerk. Validation passes on the first try because the data Payment Hub sends is the invoice.
Industries Clarity Payment Hub unlocks on Worldpay
Worldpay alone is a global card acquirer, excellent at what that means. What it is not is an industry-specific payment platform. A nonprofit, a distributor, a hospital, a university, and a subscription SaaS all need payments to behave very differently, and none of that behavior lives inside the gateway. Payment Hub is the industry-aware layer that takes Worldpay's acquiring capacity and shapes it into a payment experience that fits how each vertical actually runs.

Security, PCI scope, and enterprise compliance
Worldpay is a Level 1 PCI DSS service provider with a PCI-certified vault and tokenization stack. Clarity Payment Hub is built to push your deployment to the lightest possible compliance scope and leave the cardholder-data environment at Worldpay where it belongs.
- Tokenization at Worldpay. Every card and ACH account is tokenized directly in Worldpay's PCI-certified gateway vault. Raw credentials never touch Payment Hub's infrastructure and never touch your servers.
- SAQ A scope for most merchants. Because cardholder data is captured and stored entirely inside Worldpay's environment, your PCI self-assessment drops to SAQ A, the lightest tier, with no cardholder-data environment to audit on your side.
- SOC 2 Type II. Clarity Ventures operates to SOC 2 Type II standards. Security, availability, confidentiality, and data-handling controls are independently audited on an ongoing basis.
- 3DS2 &, fraud controls. Worldpay-level 3D Secure 2, AVS, CVV, velocity, and risk-scoring combine with portal-level controls: invoice-bound authentication, customer-matched billing addresses, signed single-use Quick Pay links. Defense profile tuned to B2B invoice fraud rather than consumer card fraud.
- Outbound-only agent for on-premise ERPs. No inbound firewall ports. No VPN tunnel. No public ERP exposure.
- Documented API surface, either side. Payment Hub consumes only Worldpay's documented Access Platform API / WPG endpoints, the same surface Worldpay exposes to its own enterprise ISV integrators. No screen scraping, no off-spec calls, no fragile integration points that could break on a Global Payments platform change.
Worldpay + Payment Hub FAQ
The questions B2B AR, IT, and finance teams ask before stacking Clarity Payment Hub on top of a Worldpay merchant account, especially mid-transition.
Does the Global Payments acquisition of Worldpay affect the integration?
No. Payment Hub integrates with Worldpay at the Access Worldpay Platform API and the Worldwide Payment Gateway (WPG), both of which are live, documented, and unchanged. Global Payments closed the acquisition on January 9, 2026, and has publicly stated the combined company will unify under the Global Payments brand on a timeline to be announced.
Whatever that transition looks like at the commercial layer, the API endpoints Payment Hub consumes are the same, your Worldpay MID continues to settle, and the ERP posting layer on top is unaffected. The value of a stable integration abstraction gets larger, not smaller, during brand transitions.
Which ERPs does the Worldpay + Payment Hub integration support?
25+ ERPs on the same Worldpay merchant account. NetSuite (full AR, customer portal, and Level 3 automation through the Payment Hub connector), Sage 50, Sage 100, Sage 300, Sage X3, Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 F&O, Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV, Acumatica, Epicor Kinetic, Epicor Prophet 21, Epicor Eclipse, Epicor Eagle, Infor SyteLine, SYSPRO, Oracle E-Business Suite, Odoo, Blackbaud, QuickBooks Online, and Enterprise QuickBooks.
Typical go-live is 48 hours once ERP sandbox credentials are shared. Same Worldpay account, same MID, same statement for every ERP in the deployment.
What is CEDP and how does Worldpay + Payment Hub handle it?
CEDP is Visa's Commercial Enhanced Data Program, launched April 2025, which replaces the previous Level 2 / Level 3 interchange structure with a single data-validation regime. Worldpay has received CEDP notices from Visa regarding merchants whose enhanced-data submissions fail validation, and publishes its own CEDP error guide with full error codes and remediation.
The Worldpay gateway accepts CEDP-compliant fields. The merchant still has to populate them correctly on every eligible transaction. Payment Hub auto-captures validated line-item, tax, PO, freight, and customer-code data directly from the ERP and fires it into Worldpay at authorization time, so transactions qualify for CEDP-reduced rates on the first pass. The full Visa Level 2 sunset for U.S. commercial, corporate, fleet, and purchasing cards completes in April 2026.
Is Payment Hub built to the Access Worldpay API, or the legacy Worldwide Payment Gateway?
Both. Access Worldpay is Worldpay's modern, modular/orchestrated REST API platform, covering Payments, Tokens, 3DS, Payouts, FX, and Queries, and is the default integration surface for new Payment Hub deployments.
The Worldwide Payment Gateway (WPG) is the legacy XML-based gateway still in active production use at many enterprise merchants. Payment Hub supports it for migration scenarios and for customers on long-running Worldpay contracts. If you are not sure which surface your account uses, a Clarity integration engineer will identify it from your endpoint URL and credentials during the first 30 minutes of onboarding.
Which industries does Worldpay + Clarity Payment Hub serve?
Eight core verticals, each served by an industry-specific flow library on top of Worldpay's gateway and the ERP of record:
B2B distribution &, wholesale: dealer/reseller portals, Pay-on-Account, net-terms and credit-limit management, Level 3 on commercial cards, multi-invoice consolidation.
Manufacturing: PO-driven AR with PO and freight in the Level 3 payload, multi-entity and multi-plant reconciliation, service-parts and aftermarket payment flows.
Healthcare &, life sciences: patient and payer statement portals, payment plans and balance billing, HSA/FSA handling, SAQ A scope with no PHI in the payment environment.
Nonprofit &, fundraising: recurring gifts, designated funds, soft credits, tribute and in-memoriam giving, receipting, year-end statements, native Blackbaud integration.
Education: family/student tuition portals, multi-payer splits, installment plans with ACH auto-debit, activity-fee and meal-plan billing.
Government &, public sector: citizen-facing portals for permits, utilities, taxes, and courts. GSA / purchasing-card Level 3 on supplier payables. Compliant surcharging or convenience fees where allowed.
Professional services &, agencies: client portals with matter/engagement-level invoicing, retainer balances, trust-account-friendly flows, recurring billing for subscription engagements.
Subscription, SaaS &, membership: tokenized recurring with dunning and retry, proration and plan changes, account-updater on expired cards, self-service member/subscriber portals.
Does Worldpay support ACH, multi-currency, and tokenized recurring through Payment Hub?
Yes on all three. Worldpay's Access platform supports cards across Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, UnionPay, Diners, card-present and card-not-present, 3DS2, FX conversion in 150+ currencies across 175+ countries, ACH and bank-to-bank payouts via Push-to-Account, and tokenized recurring with gateway-stored token reuse.
Payment Hub surfaces these as first-class options in the customer portal: ACH alongside cards with tokenized bank-account reuse, multi-currency presentment based on customer location, tokenized recurring and auto-pay schedules that post applied cash to the ERP the moment Worldpay confirms authorization. For large B2B receipts, ACH is typically configured as the default method above a dollar threshold.
Do I keep my Worldpay merchant account, rates, and MID?
Yes. Payment Hub connects to your existing Worldpay account through the documented Access Worldpay or WPG API, your MID, your merchant agreement, your negotiated commercial-card and ACH rates, your relationship manager, your monthly statement, and your settlement account all stay exactly as they are.
Clarity does not insert a per-transaction markup, does not skim basis points, and does not replace the Worldpay merchant relationship. Payment Hub is sold as a flat software subscription. Through the Global Payments brand transition, whatever Worldpay's commercial identity becomes, your MID and API endpoints continue to work.
How long does a Worldpay + Payment Hub go-live take?
48 hours is typical once Clarity has Worldpay gateway credentials and ERP sandbox credentials. Because Access Worldpay and WPG are both long-standing, well-documented integration surfaces, the gateway side is well-trodden, most of the implementation time is spent on ERP connector configuration and portal branding rather than on payments plumbing.
Payment Hub is packaged software with a flat subscription. No markup on Worldpay transactions, no basis-point skim, no custom-build timeline.
If Global Payments eventually consolidates Worldpay onto a unified platform, what happens to my integration?
That's exactly the scenario Payment Hub is designed to insulate you from. The ERP-integration logic, the customer portal, the CEDP Level 3 auto-enrichment, the reconciliation, and the AR posting all live in Clarity Connect, they are agnostic to the underlying gateway. If the merchant-side identity on your account eventually changes, Clarity re-points Payment Hub at whatever the successor API endpoint is. Your connectors, your portal branding, and your internal reconciliation logic do not need to be rebuilt.
In practice, Global Payments has publicly committed to preserving Worldpay's existing integration surfaces as part of the transition, Access Worldpay in particular is the modern acquiring surface they would most likely unify toward, not away from.
