Designed by hospitality suppliers for hospitality suppliers. is an easy-to-use, searchable online database consisting of high-quality intelligence on groups and meetings taking place in the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. It has been built through 20+ years of independent research from multiple sources with the core foundation coming from Meetings Database Institute (MDI), founded in 1994, and the industry leading independent aggregator of targeted group data and meeting information. The breadth and search ability of the group data contained in is simply unmatched in the industry.


Existing Problems

The MeetingLists team had all the data, and knew what to do with it, and needed a partner that could design not just a website, but an online application to provide a unique user experience to make it easy to find and sell the information, as well as track and report on each meeting, how many times it was sold, auto-expire access after 30 days, update clients proactively and much more.

Our Solutions

Clarity started with the data. How to take millions of records, with over 150 unique defining fields and make it easily searchable? As a UX specialty company, Clarity designed a UI, where users can build a profile of meetings that they’re interested in possibly purchasing, save the queries, purchase a sub-set of the data, update and download their lists, and check back often to see if additional meetings matching their needs have been posted.

The Benefits

The website design is fresh and inviting. The site has created a centralized platform, making it easy for the team to update/import their meetings into the database, streamlining and shortening the time it took to make them available to their clients. Clients can now save their search profiles, coming back often to check for updates and new meeting listings, auto-expiration of listings provides an additional revenue opportunity that the team used to give away since it couldn’t be managed.




HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap were used to make the DNN (DotNetNuke) Evoq site responsive. MS SQL for the backend database, with JQuery and Kendo used to optimize the search and results functionality. Clarity eCommerce™ is used as the platform to serve up the product listings.
