Why SYSPRO customers add Payment Hub, and what changes when they do

SYSPRO occupies a distinct position in the mid-market ERP market, the industry-built ERP designed specifically for manufacturers and distributors, with thousands of customers in 60+ countries and 40+ years of last-mile, industry-specific functionality. Recognized as a Microsoft Gold partner. The brochure positioning is direct: "SYSPRO's leading-edge ERP technology has provided manufacturers and distributors with one flexible, easy-to-learn solution." Available on-premise (customer-managed), SYSPRO Cloud (Microsoft Azure IaaS, single-tenant, monthly subscription), or hybrid.

SYSPRO's signature architectural commitment is industry depth combined with deployment flexibility. Where Sage 100 / Sage 300 anchor on generic SMB / mid-market and SAP Business One / SAP Business ByDesign serve broader business types, SYSPRO anchors specifically on the manufacturer and distributor, with last-mile, industry-specific functionality for seven named industry verticals (Automotive Parts and Accessories, Electronics, Food and Beverage, Metal Fabrication, Industrial Machinery and Equipment, Packaging, Plastics and Rubber). The platform is modular, with five solution bundles (System Foundation, Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Technologies), customers pay only for what they need and add functionality as they grow. SYSPRO 8 2024 (the current annual release) brings Embedded Analytics, the OData Connector for modern REST integration, the Tax Connector for tax-calculation provider integration, and continued evolution of the Avanti web interface and Espresso mobile platform.

The gap, common across multi-Company SYSPRO installations, is channel-partner-supplied PSP add-on sprawl on the payment-acceptance side. SYSPRO's go-to-market is primarily through a strong channel partner network responsible for local implementation and support. Partners deliver most payment-side integrations as channel-partner-supplied PSP add-ons (each typically tied to a specific gateway: Authorize.Net, Global Payments, Worldpay, regional acquirers). For multi-Company SYSPRO customers, common in manufacturing and distribution where customers run 3–25 Companies for legal-entity separation, the result is integration multiplicity: customers commonly end up with multiple PSP add-ons running in parallel (one per partner / region), each with its own configuration, dunning ladder, L3 logic. Payment Hub fills this gap through SYSPRO's published e.net Solutions / OData Connector / Workflow integration paths, gateway- and processor-agnostic, 19+ gateway choices behind one consistent integration, with per-Company / per-Currency / per-Warehouse routing matching SYSPRO's multi-Company architecture.

Clarity's role: Payment Hub is the gateway-agnostic payment-acceptance layer for SYSPRO, replacing channel-partner-supplied PSP add-on sprawl with 19+ gateway choices behind a single integration. Through SYSPRO's published e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager (the e.net Business Objects framework), OData Connector (modern REST), Document Flow Manager, and Workflow Services paths. Works across all 7 industry-built verticals (Automotive Parts, Electronics, Food &. Beverage, Metal Fabrication, Industrial Machinery, Packaging, Plastics &. Rubber) and all 3 deployment options (on-premise, SYSPRO Cloud on Azure, hybrid). Adds Level III interchange optimization, multi-Company / multi-Currency / multi-Warehouse routing, surcharging where legal, dunning automation, real-time line-level cash application via AR / Cash Book / EFT posting, and Embedded Analytics-ready payment KPIs alongside operational KPIs in the SYSPRO Avanti workspace.

Payment Hub vs SYSPRO's channel-partner-supplied PSP add-ons, orchestration vs sprawl

SYSPRO's go-to-market is primarily through a strong channel partner network responsible for local implementation and support. Most payment-side integrations come as channel-partner-supplied PSP add-ons. They work for single-gateway scenarios. As multi-Company SYSPRO customers grow, integration multiplicity becomes the constraint. Payment Hub is the orchestration alternative.

Capability Channel-Partner-Supplied PSP Add-Ons Payment Hub on SYSPRO
Gateway / processor choice Per-gateway add-on per channel partner. Multiple add-ons across regions / Companies 19+ gateways behind one e.net Solutions / OData integration (Worldpay, Adyen, Fortis, PayTrace, Stripe, Authorize.Net, NMI, USAePay, plus regional acquirers)

The Missing LinkBetween Paymentsand Your ERP

Clarity Payment Hub closes that gap, connecting your orders, invoices, and payment channels into one flow.

Speak to a Platform Architect

How the integration works, e.net Solutions + OData Connector + Workflow + Document Flow Manager

Payment Hub plugs into SYSPRO through the platform's published integration paths. e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager (the e.net Business Objects framework) for transactional posting. OData Connector for modern REST-style / analytical scenarios. Document Flow Manager for electronic-document automation. Workflow Services for configurable business-process automation. No customizations bypassed, SYSPRO business rules and security integrity preserved. Eight features that come online when SYSPRO gets Payment Hub:

e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager

The e.net Business Objects framework, SYSPRO's foundational API platform that maintains business rules and security integrity. Primary path for transactional scenarios, AR Receipt creation, Cash Book entries, GL posting, customer master operations. Authentication via SYSPRO operator logins.

OData Connector for modern integration

Modern REST-style integration via the Open Data Protocol. Used for read-heavy / analytical scenarios, customer master lookups, AR aging queries, real-time inventory checks during customer-portal payment flows, Embedded Analytics-ready data exposure. Coexists with e.net Solutions for transactional posting.

Document Flow Manager &, Workflow Services

Document Flow Manager simplifies electronic-document management and routing with workflow integration. Workflow Services automates configurable, version-controlled business processes. Payment Hub uses both for document-aware payment scenarios and approval workflows on refunds / credit memos.

Level III auto-enrichment with Tax Connector

Pulls 20+ required L3 fields from SYSPRO Sales Order Detail, AR Invoice Detail, Production Order line records, and Project &, Contract line records. Tax data flows in cleanly via the SYSPRO Tax Connector (tax-calculation provider integration). Mid-market customers recover $75K-$1M+/yr.

Multi-Company / multi-Warehouse routing

Each SYSPRO Company gets its own gateway / merchant account / settlement bank / currency / surcharging policy / compliance overlay. Each Warehouse can route per-location MIDs for shipment-triggered captures. Routing decisions on Company + Warehouse fields. Scales to 25+ Companies.

Lot Traceability-aware refund processing

For Food &, Beverage and other recall-sensitive industries: refunds traceable to specific lots via SYSPRO Lot Traceability. Critical for FDA recall scenarios where refund-flow visibility per affected lot is regulatory-required. Connects payment events to specific batch genealogy.

Manufacturing Bundle integration (BOM, WIP, MOM)

Subscribes to SYSPRO Bill of Materials, Work In Progress, MOM, and Projects &, Contracts events. BOM-driven deposits at order entry. Milestone billing on WIP status events. Production Order completion captures. Project &, Contract milestone billing for custom-engineered work.

Embedded Analytics payment KPI publishing

Payment events publish into SYSPRO as first-class data points. Embedded Analytics dashboards surface payment KPIs alongside operational KPIs in the SYSPRO Avanti workspace: days-sales-outstanding, payment-method mix, dispute rate, retry success, surcharge yield, L3 yield.

The integration workflow, a custom metal fabricator on SYSPRO across 8 plants in 3 countries, end to end

Walk through one realistic SYSPRO scenario. Cascade Metal Industries, a $145M custom metal fabrication and precision-machining company headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio with 8 plants across the US (Cleveland HQ + Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo, Charlotte), Canada (Toronto, Winnipeg), and Mexico (Monterrey). 480 employees. SYSPRO 8 customer since 2015 (came off legacy QuickBooks Enterprise + spreadsheets when they hit $40M revenue and added the second plant). Industry vertical: Metal Fabrication. Heavy use across all 5 SYSPRO solution bundles, Manufacturing Bundle (Bill of Materials, Work In Progress, Quotations &. Estimating, MOM), Distribution Bundle (Sales Orders, Counter Sales for parts-counter, RMA, Lot Traceability), Finance Bundle (AR, Cash Book, EFT), System Foundation (Connected Systems Manager, Embedded Analytics, Workflow), Technologies (OData Connector, Tax Connector, Espresso). 4 Companies in SYSPRO (one per legal entity: US, Canada, Mexico, Holdings). Multi-currency: USD primary, plus CAD, MXN. Currently uses one channel-partner-supplied Authorize.Net add-on (deployed 2017 by their original SYSPRO implementation partner) plus a separate Worldpay Canadian add-on (added 2020 when they expanded to Toronto). Eight steps showing how Payment Hub modernizes and consolidates.

1

Custom-fabrication order, $385K USD precision-machined-component package from a Tier-1 industrial customer

Cascade's Cleveland HQ sales team takes a $385,000 USD order from one of their largest Tier-1 industrial customers (heavy-equipment OEM): 18 line items including custom-fabricated steel weldments, precision-machined components, and assembly services. SYSPRO creates Sales Order in Company 01-Cascade-US, Currency=USD, Warehouse=CLE-Main. Quotations &, Estimating module had run the original quote 2 weeks prior. Bill of Materials sets up the kit-assembly structure for 4 of the 18 line items (custom weldments are kit-assembled per BOM). Projects &, Contracts opens a project record for the multi-week production schedule. Lot Traceability tracks the steel coil source for QC/audit purposes.

BOM-driven 30% deposit at order entry, customer AP authorizes via Visa Purchasing card ($115,500)

Cascade's standard custom-fabrication policy: 30% deposit at order entry on any project >$50K with kit-assembled BOM components. SYSPRO Bill of Materials calculates the BOM-portion deposit: $385,000 × 30% = $115,500 deposit due at order. Payment Hub catches the BOM-driven deposit-required event via Connected Systems Manager (e.net) subscription. Sends a payment link to Tier-1 customer's AP team via the embedded customer portal (replacing the old Authorize.Net-driven portal that previously existed). Customer AP authorizes via stored Visa Purchasing card on file from prior orders (their procurement cards run through Cascade's Worldpay US merchant account, not the legacy Authorize.Net).

3

L3 enrichment + Company routing, 18 line items, USD capture, Worldpay US (replacing legacy Authorize.Net)

L3 enrichment fires from the 18 Sales Order line items in SYSPRO. Tax data flows in cleanly via the SYSPRO Tax Connector (Ohio sales tax. Tax-exempt for resale where applicable). All 22 L3 fields packaged. Routing matrix: Co=01-Cascade-US, Country=US, Currency=USD → Worldpay US merchant account (Cascade replaced the legacy channel-partner-supplied Authorize.Net add-on with Worldpay for North American operations as part of the consolidation), USD capture, settlement to Cascade's KeyBank USD account. Capture posts at large-ticket commercial-card interchange. L3 savings on this single deposit transaction: ~$340.

AR Receipt creation via e.net Solutions, Cash Book posting. Workflow rules fire correctly

Capture confirms at Worldpay. Payment Hub creates AR Receipt in SYSPRO via Connected Systems Manager (e.net Business Objects): $115,500 against deposit AR Invoice INV-DEP-04217, Worldpay reference attached, Co=01-Cascade-US set. Cash Book entry posts. GL impact lands on Cascade's standard chart of accounts (debit cash, credit deposit AR clearing). Cascade's existing Workflow rule on AR Receipt creation fires (Workflow Services notifies Project Manager that deposit landed and steel-coil procurement can proceed). Embedded Analytics dashboards refresh. Days-sales-outstanding metric updates in the Avanti workspace.

Production with Work In Progress + Lot Traceability, milestone billing on WIP completion events

Cleveland plant runs Production Orders for the 18 line items across 6 work centers (cutting, welding, machining, assembly, finishing, QC). SYSPRO Work In Progress tracks each Production Order through completion. MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) provides shop-floor visibility. Lot Traceability records the steel-coil source for each weldment. Cascade's policy: 50% of remaining balance billed at "Production Complete" (WIP status flips to Completed for last component). Payment Hub catches the WIP completion event via Workflow subscription on the Manufacturing module. Sends payment link to customer for the milestone, $134,750 ($269,500 remaining × 50%). Customer AP authorizes, Worldpay captures. AR Receipt created via e.net.

Multi-Company batch, Toronto plant collects CAD 28K from 6 European-Canadian customers same week

Same week, Cascade's Toronto plant (Co=02-Cascade-CA) processes a multi-invoice batch from 6 of their B2B customers in Eastern Canada. CAD 28,000 across 12 open AR Invoices. Customers pay via the embedded portal, multi-invoice batch pay across the 12 invoices. Routing matrix: Co=02-Cascade-CA, Country=Canada, Currency=CAD → Worldpay Canada merchant account (replacing the separate channel-partner Worldpay add-on that existed for this Company). The Mexico plant (Co=03-Cascade-MX) processes its month-end Counter Sales batch via the Mexican peso Worldpay merchant account. All three Companies route through Payment Hub's unified routing matrix. Legacy channel-partner add-ons retire entity-by-entity.

4-Company rollout complete, both legacy channel-partner PSP add-ons retired

Over 5 months, Cascade completes Payment Hub rollout to all 4 SYSPRO Companies. Each Company routes to its currency-matched merchant account: Worldpay US for USD, Worldpay Canada for CAD, Worldpay Mexico for MXN. Both legacy channel-partner add-ons (Authorize.Net deployed 2017, Worldpay-Canada add-on deployed 2020) retire. Counter Sales locations across all 8 plants now route through Payment Hub for unified L3 enrichment, dunning, dimensional carry-through. Cascade's Y1 cumulative L3 savings across all 4 Companies: $295K against $24M global B2B card volume. Embedded Analytics on the Avanti workspace surfaces payment KPIs alongside operational KPIs (DSO, AR aging, dispute rate, surcharge yield).

  • Cross-currency capture: authorize in one currency, capture in another, settle through SYSPRO's standard exchange-rate revaluation.
  • Multi-Company architecture preserved, typically 3-25 Companies for legal-entity separation across countries / divisions.
  • SYSPRO to SYSPRO Interface respected for distributed-tenant scenarios.
  • General Ledger module's multi-currency / multi-company support naturally compatible with Payment Hub's routing matrix.

Customization respect

  • Custom forms via SYSPRO System Manager preserved.
  • Workflow rules fire on Payment Hub-driven postings (when Payment Hub creates an AR Receipt or applies cash, your configured workflows fire as designed).
  • Custom Embedded Analytics queries continue to render Payment Hub-aware data.
  • SAP Crystal Reports custom reports continue to render Payment Hub-aware data.
  • e.net Business Objects API customizations remain functional.
  • Channel-partner-supplied non-payment integrations (shipping, label printing, EDI partner integrations) preserved.
  • SYSPRO's electronic-signature framework applies to Payment Hub-driven postings.
  • System Manager's role-based access controls and audit-log requirements respected.

Security and compliance

  • SYSPRO operator logins with appropriate company-level authorizations. Electronic signatures where Workflow rules require them. Audit logs on all transactions.
  • PCI DSS Level 1 service provider, with PCI scope minimized via tokenization at gateway.
  • Card data never lands in SYSPRO. Tokens stored as custom field on ArCustomer.
  • SOC 2 Type II (Clarity).
  • For SYSPRO Cloud customers (Azure-hosted IaaS), Microsoft Azure's compliance posture (SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP) extends naturally.
  • 3DS2 / SCA support natively across all gateways for European compliance (PSD2).
  • Country-specific compliance overlays per Company (US sales tax via Tax Connector with Avalara/Vertex providers. Canadian GST/HST/PST, Mexican IVA, regional VAT, APAC tax).
  • Microsoft Gold Partnership relationship gives Cloud customers Azure-grade security, privacy, compliance, and data-center redundancy.

Deployment scenarios

  • SYSPRO on-premise (customer-managed): e.net Solutions + OData Connector integration. Outbound HTTPS to gateways.
  • SYSPRO Cloud (Microsoft Azure IaaS, single-tenant): same integration, Azure-side outbound HTTPS connectivity. Monthly subscription, 12-month minimum.
  • SYSPRO Hybrid: combines both, Payment Hub routes per-Company-or-Warehouse based on which entity sits where.
  • Single-Company manufacturer / distributor: pilot in 48 hours, expand to additional Warehouses as needed.
  • Multi-Company SYSPRO group (typical): same integration, per-Company routing matrix scales naturally.
  • Channel-partner-supplied PSP add-on retirement: phased rollout, legacy add-ons coexist during transition.
  • SYSPRO 8 base + SYSPRO 8 2024 annual release: Payment Hub uses stable e.net Business Objects + OData Connector endpoints, non-disruptive across releases.

SYSPRO vs Sage 100 vs Acumatica vs Epicor Kinetic

SYSPRO sits in the manufacturer / distributor mid-market ERP segment, with industry-built depth as the distinctive positioning. The natural alternatives for shoppers in this segment include Sage 100 (broader SMB focus, less manufacturer-specific), Acumatica (modern cloud-native, broader functional reach), Epicor Kinetic (manufacturing-focused with similar depth), and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Microsoft-stack alternative). For SYSPRO customers, Payment Hub's configuration ports forward across ERP transitions, same gateway connections, routing rules, surcharging, dunning, customer portal, L3 mappings carry across. The integration surface changes (e.net Solutions / OData Connector on SYSPRO → BOI / Visual Integrator on Sage 100 → REST API on Acumatica → REST / SOAP on Epicor Kinetic on the destination), but the application configuration carries forward without re-implementation.

Frequently asked questions about SYSPRO + Payment Hub

Answers to the most common questions from SYSPRO customers, SYSPRO channel partners, and IT teams planning payment modernization for their SYSPRO deployments.

Does Clarity Payment Hub integrate with SYSPRO?

Yes. Clarity Payment Hub integrates with SYSPRO through SYSPRO's published integration paths: e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager (the e.net Business Objects framework, SYSPRO's foundational API platform that maintains business rules and security integrity), the OData Connector for modern REST-style integration via the Open Data Protocol, Document Flow Manager for electronic-document automation, Workflow Services for configurable business-process automation, and the System Administrator framework for role-based authentication.

Authentication via SYSPRO operator logins with appropriate company-level access controls and electronic signatures where required. Every transaction posts to SYSPRO in real time. AR Customer master, Sales Orders, AR Invoices, AR Receipts (Cash Book postings), Inventory transactions, and the multi-Company / multi-Warehouse data stay as the single source of truth in SYSPRO. Works across SYSPRO 8 (current major version) and SYSPRO 8 2024 (the current annual release) on on-premise, SYSPRO Cloud (Azure-hosted IaaS, single-tenant), or hybrid deployments.

Does Payment Hub support SYSPRO's five solution bundles?

Yes. SYSPRO 8 2024 organizes functionality across five solution bundles. System Foundation Bundle, System Administrator, Connected Systems Manager (formerly e.Net Systems Manager), Embedded Analytics, Reporting Services, Office Automation &. Messaging, Contact Management, plus add-ons including Document Flow Manager and Workflow, provides the platform foundation Payment Hub plugs into. Finance Bundle, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Book, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), General Ledger (multi-currency, multi-company), Inventory Management, plus add-ons Assets Register and EFT Interface (NACHA, etc.), is the primary cash-application surface for Payment Hub.

Distribution Bundle, Sales Orders, Counter Sales, Sales Analysis, Request for Quotation, Purchase Orders, plus add-ons (RTS, RMA, Landed Cost Tracking, Inventory Forecasting/Optimization, Lot Traceability, Blanket Sales Orders), drives the order-to-cash flow. Manufacturing Bundle, Work In Progress, Factory Documentation, Bill of Materials, Product Configurator, Quotations &. Estimating, plus add-ons (MRP, Projects &. Contracts, MOM, Quality Management), drives manufacturing-specific patterns. Technologies Bundle, Document Services, Espresso (mobile), Tax Connector, OData Connector, provides the integration tier Payment Hub uses.

Does Payment Hub work across SYSPRO's seven industry-built verticals?

Yes. SYSPRO's brochure names seven industry-built verticals where the platform delivers last-mile, industry-specific functionality for manufacturers and distributors. Automotive Parts and Accessories, drives B2B card volume from Tier-1 / Tier-2 automotive supply chains. Benefits substantially from L3 enrichment. Electronics, drives high-volume order-to-cash with serialized lot traceability. Food and Beverage, drives recall-aware lot traceability cash flows, FDA-compliance overlay.

Metal Fabrication, drives custom-fabrication project-billing patterns, BOM-driven deposits. Industrial Machinery and Equipment, drives heavy-equipment milestone billing with installation / commissioning pay points. Packaging, drives high-volume converter / container manufacturing flows. Plastics and Rubber, drives mold-based / process-based manufacturing flows. Each vertical gets pattern-specific Payment Hub configuration. The integration is the same underlying e.net Solutions / OData Connector layer with vertical-aware routing, dimensional-tagging, and dunning logic.

Does Payment Hub support SYSPRO's three deployment options (on-premise, Cloud, hybrid)?

Yes. SYSPRO "ERP Your Way" provides three deployment options. On-premise, installed on customer infrastructure, customer-managed, deepest customization flexibility, using existing IT investments. SYSPRO Cloud, Microsoft Azure-hosted Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS, single-tenant), monthly subscription with 12-month minimum, SYSPRO-managed underlying equipment with customer maintaining control of software and applications, fully managed always-available scalable ERP. Hybrid, combines both for customers wanting cloud benefits for some functions while keeping others on-premise.

Payment Hub integration code is identical across all three deployments. On-premise customers integrate through e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager plus OData Connector. Cloud customers use the same paths with cloud-side outbound HTTPS connectivity. Hybrid customers route per-Company-or-Warehouse based on which entity sits where. Same gateway routing, same L3 enrichment, same dunning logic, same customer portal regardless of deployment.

Does Payment Hub work with SYSPRO Avanti web interface and SYSPRO Espresso mobile?

Yes. SYSPRO offers three engagement options for users. SYSPRO Avanti is the web-based interface providing universal access to SYSPRO ERP through a browser, on any device, on any platform, from anywhere, at any time, fluid, responsive UI based on the same familiar SYSPRO experience. SYSPRO Espresso is the mobile platform, touch-friendly, offline-capable, push notifications via active tiles, available from iTunes / Google Play / AppStore. Windows Client is the traditional desktop interface.

Payment Hub integrates cleanly: customer-facing payment surfaces align with Avanti's fluid web design language for embedded portal experiences inside SYSPRO-driven customer portals. Espresso-driven mobile transactions (counter sales at retail, mobile order entry by sales reps, warehouse-floor cash receipts) get appropriate Payment Hub coverage. Windows Client users see Payment Hub-driven cash receipts in standard transactions like AR Receipt Entry without changes to the familiar interface.

How is this different from the channel-partner-supplied legacy PSP add-ons?

SYSPRO's go-to-market is primarily through a channel-partner network, partners deliver local implementation and support, including most payment-side integrations. The result over the past decade has been a fragmented set of channel-partner-supplied PSP add-ons (each typically tied to a specific gateway: Authorize.Net, Global Payments, Worldpay, regional acquirers). These work for single-gateway scenarios but constrain modernization at multi-Company / multi-Country scale: most are tied to a single PSP / single MID, no Level III interchange enrichment, no surcharging where legal, dunning limited to SYSPRO's standard reminder logic, customer portal payment surface limited to what the specific add-on provides.

Payment Hub is the gateway- and processor-agnostic alternative: pick any of 19+ gateways behind one consistent e.net Solutions / OData Connector integration. Existing merchant accounts, processors, and negotiated rates stay. Payment Hub coexists with existing PSP add-ons during phased rollouts.

Does Level III interchange optimization work for SYSPRO customers?

Yes. SYSPRO customers in Industrial Machinery and Equipment, Automotive Parts, Electronics, Metal Fabrication, and B2B distribution typically have substantial B2B commercial-card volume that the channel-partner-supplied PSP add-ons handle at non-qualified or partially-qualified interchange. Payment Hub automatically pulls line-item data from SYSPRO's Sales Order Detail, AR Invoice Detail (via the AR module), Production Order line records (via Work In Progress + Bill of Materials), and Project &. Contract line records, through e.net Business Objects exposed via Connected Systems Manager and the OData Connector, then packages the 20+ required L3 fields per gateway / card-brand spec.

Tax data flows in cleanly via the SYSPRO Tax Connector (which integrates with tax-calculation providers for accurate sales tax rates and compliance with local tax regulations). Typical mid-market SYSPRO customer with $25M in annual B2B card volume recovers $75K–$200K annually. Larger multi-Company SYSPRO customers with $100M+ commercial-card volume can recover $400K–$1M+/yr.

Does Payment Hub use the SYSPRO OData Connector for modern integration?

Yes. The OData Connector (part of the SYSPRO 8 2024 Technologies Bundle) enables smooth real-time data exchange between SYSPRO and external applications using the Open Data Protocol (OData) standard. It enables integration, reporting, and analytics by providing a secure and consistent way to access and interact with SYSPRO data across various platforms, such as Excel.

Payment Hub uses the OData Connector for modern REST-style integration scenarios, customer master lookups, AR aging queries, real-time inventory checks during customer-portal payment flows, embedded-analytics-ready data exposure for SYSPRO Embedded Analytics dashboards. The OData Connector coexists with the traditional e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager (the e.net Business Objects framework), e.net handles the transactional posting (AR Receipt creation, Cash Book entries, GL impact), OData handles the read-heavy / analytical scenarios. The combination is the SYSPRO-recommended pattern for modern ERP integrations.

Does Payment Hub work with SYSPRO Manufacturing modules (Bill of Materials, Work in Progress, MOM, Lot Traceability)?

Yes. SYSPRO's Manufacturing Bundle, built specifically for SYSPRO's seven manufacturing-focused industry verticals, drives the production lifecycle through Work In Progress, Factory Documentation, Bill of Materials, Product Configurator, Quotations &. Estimating, with add-ons for Material Requirements Planning, Projects &. Contracts, Engineering Change Control, Activity Based Costing, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Enterprise Asset Management, Quality Management, and Mobile Warehouse.

Payment Hub adds the manufacturing-specific payment patterns: BOM-driven deposits at Sales Order entry for kit-assembled products, milestone billing on Production Order status events from Work In Progress, partial-shipment captures triggered by Sales Order / Outbound Delivery events, lot-traceable cash application back to specific batches (especially valuable for Food &. Beverage and Pharmaceuticals where regulatory recall scenarios drive cash-flow implications), Project &. Contract milestone billing for custom-engineered work. The triggers come from SYSPRO's existing manufacturing modules. Payment Hub interprets the events and runs the captures.

Does Payment Hub support SYSPRO's multi-Company architecture?

Yes. SYSPRO's General Ledger module supports multi-currency and multi-company operations as a core platform capability. SYSPRO customers commonly run 3–25 Companies for legal-entity separation across countries / divisions / acquired businesses. Each Company can have its own currency, chart of accounts, tax setup, country localization, and warehouse / branch structure.

Payment Hub maps directly: each SYSPRO Company routes to its own gateway / merchant account / settlement bank / currency / surcharging policy / compliance overlay. Cross-Company captures handle SYSPRO's intercompany flows correctly via the SYSPRO to SYSPRO Interface (where applicable for distributed-tenant scenarios). Routing decisions happen on the originating Sales Order / AR Invoice's Company code. For multi-Company SYSPRO customers, Payment Hub's routing matrix scales naturally, same configuration framework, same dimensional carry-through, regardless of how many Companies you operate.

Does Payment Hub respect SYSPRO customizations (e.net Solutions, Workflow Services, custom forms)?

Yes. SYSPRO's customization model is the e.net Solutions framework (now branded Connected Systems Manager), the e.net Business Objects API layer that maintains business rules and security integrity through external integrations. Plus Workflow Services for configurable business-process automation, custom forms via the System Manager, custom reports via Reporting Services, and Embedded Analytics dashboards.

Payment Hub uses SYSPRO's published e.net Solutions / OData Connector / Workflow paths exclusively, it doesn't bypass your customizations. Custom forms continue to render normally. Workflow rules fire on Payment Hub-driven postings (when Payment Hub creates an AR Receipt or applies cash, your configured workflows fire as designed). Custom Embedded Analytics queries on payment events work natively. SYSPRO's electronic-signature and operator-login security framework applies to Payment Hub-driven postings the same as any other SYSPRO transaction. The integration is non-invasive on the customization layer.

What's the implementation timeline for SYSPRO?

A typical Payment Hub + SYSPRO integration goes live in 48 hours once Clarity receives SYSPRO test environment access (e.net Solutions / Connected Systems Manager credentials, OData Connector activation, operator login with appropriate company-level authorizations, electronic-signature setup if required by your Workflow rules), gateway credentials, and your baseline routing configuration. SYSPRO platform implementations themselves typically follow SYSPRO's IDEAL methodology over 4–9 months for the platform, Payment Hub's overlay deploys substantially faster because it sits on top of an already-running SYSPRO configuration.

For multi-Company SYSPRO customers (common in distribution and manufacturing verticals with multiple legal entities), pilot with one Company / Warehouse in the first 48 hours, then add additional Companies in subsequent batches over 4–8 weeks. For customers using SYSPRO Cloud (Azure-hosted single-tenant IaaS), Payment Hub registers as another integration alongside existing channel-partner integrations. For phased rollouts where existing channel-partner PSP add-ons are being retired, Payment Hub coexists during transition.
