Why Sage 300 customers add Payment Hub, and what changes when they do

Sage 300, formerly Sage ERP Accpac, is Sage's globally-positioned mid-market ERP. Where Sage 100 anchors on the North American SMB tier and Sage Intacct anchors on cloud-native financial management, Sage 300's distinctive promise is multi-company, multi-currency, multi-language operations for businesses that have outgrown single-country accounting. Three editions cover the spectrum: Standard (5 companies / 5 users / 3 account segments / 7 years of financial history), Advanced (unlimited companies / 10 users / 4 segments), and Premium (unlimited / unlimited / 10 segments / 99 years of history). Sage 300cloud delivers the same functional reach in a cloud-deployed model. Database options include Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Pervasive.SQL.

Sage 300's distinctive architecture is the layered ring model documented in Sage's own architecture diagrams. At the core sit the foundational platform capabilities, Mobile access, Multicurrency, Multilanguage, Multi-company management, Workflow tools, Custom fields, KPI dashboards, Reliable reporting. Around that core, the inner-ring functional pillars, Finance and accounting, Inventory and operations, Project and job costing, Business intelligence, Purchasing and vendor management. Wrapping those, the outer-ring extension modules, Manufacturing, Inventory advisor, CRM, Order entry, Fixed asset management, Alerts and Workflows, POS and eCommerce, Human resources and payroll, Service management. This layered architecture is what gives Sage 300 its global mid-market reach.

The gap, common across long-running Sage 300 installations, is the certified-gateway lock-in on the payment-acceptance side. Sage 300 ships with a Credit Card Processing module, typically configured to integrate with one of Sage's certified gateways (historically Sage Payment Solutions / Paya, now Sage Pay or selected third-party processors). Most Sage 300 customers configured this years ago, often back in their Accpac days, and never changed it. The result for global businesses is particularly painful: single-gateway, single-MID across all Companies / Currencies / Countries, no Level III interchange enrichment, no surcharging where legal, limited dunning, and a customer portal payment surface limited to what Sage 300 + Sage CRM natively provides, typically English-only despite the underlying ERP's multi-language reach. Payment Hub fills this gap through Sage 300's published integration paths, gateway- and processor-agnostic, 19+ gateway choices behind one consistent integration, with per-Company / per-Currency / per-Language routing that matches Sage 300's global architecture.

Clarity's role: Payment Hub is the gateway-agnostic payment-acceptance layer for Sage 300, replacing the single-certified-gateway lock-in with 19+ gateway choices behind a single integration. Through Sage 300's published Web API / SDK / ODBC / Web Screens paths. Works across all 3 editions plus Sage 300cloud (Standard, Advanced, Premium) and across all three database backends (SQL Server, Oracle, Pervasive.SQL). Adds Level III interchange optimization, multi-Currency cross-border settlement, language-localized customer portals, multi-Company routing, GAAP / IFRS / GDPR / Singapore-Malaysia compliance overlays, surcharging where legal, dunning automation, and real-time line-level cash application via AR Receipt creation.

The three Sage 300 editions, all served by Payment Hub

Sage 300 ships in three editions with distinct capacity tiers, plus Sage 300cloud for cloud deployment. Payment Hub integrates the same way across all four, same routing matrix, same gateway connections, same customer portal. What changes is the scale of multi-Company / multi-Currency activity each edition handles.

The integration code is the same across all four (Standard / Advanced / Premium / Sage 300cloud). The deployment process and the scale of activity differ. Standard is on-premise with the smaller capacity ceilings. Advanced removes the Company limit and expands users to 10. Premium removes all caps and expands to 10 account segments and 99 years of financial history. Sage 300cloud delivers the same functional reach in a cloud-deployed model. For customers on a Standard → Advanced → Premium upgrade path (often as global operations expand) or on a Premium → Sage 300cloud move (part of a cloud transformation), Payment Hub's configuration ports forward, same gateway connections, routing rules, customer portal customizations, L3 mappings, language overlays carry across the upgrade or migration.

Sage 300cloud's three-ring architecture, where Payment Hub plugs in

Sage 300cloud is documented in Sage's own architecture diagrams as a three-ring layered model. At the core: foundational platform capabilities (mobile, multi-currency, multi-language, multi-company, workflow, dashboards, reporting). Inner ring: functional pillars (Finance, Inventory, Project, BI, Purchasing). Outer ring: extension modules (Manufacturing, CRM, Order Entry, Service Management, etc.). Payment Hub plugs in at the platform layer and surfaces across all three rings.

The optional extension modules customers add as their operations grow. Payment Hub subscribes to events from each, production milestones, CRM portal pay events, POS captures, service-management billing.

Manufacturing Inventory advisor CRM Order entry Fixed assets Alerts &, Workflows POS &, eCommerce HR &, Payroll Service management

The three rings inform where Payment Hub touches the system. At the platform core: multi-currency routing pulls from Sage 300's standard Currency table, multi-language portal flows pull from the Language Translation Overlay, multi-company routing pulls from the Company table. At the inner ring: AR Customer / AR Invoice / AR Receipt records get created and read in Finance and Accounting. Order Entry records drive L3 enrichment. Project and Job Costing records drive milestone billing. At the outer ring: Manufacturing module events trigger production-milestone captures. CRM portal embeds the modernized payment surface. Order Entry events fire shipment captures. Service Management drives recurring billing for service contracts.

Global multi-currency / multi-language reach, Sage 300's signature differentiator

The capability that distinguishes Sage 300 from Sage 100 and Sage Intacct is its native global reach, multi-currency, multi-language, multi-jurisdiction tax compliance, built into the core ERP. Payment Hub respects and extends this across the payment surface.

Sage 300 customers operating internationally typically run a Company entity per country (US, Canada, UK, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico, common deployment pattern). Each Company has its own functional currency, language, GL chart, tax setup, and compliance overlay. Payment Hub respects this entity-level partitioning end-to-end. Currency routing: each Sage 300 Company entity routes to its currency-matched gateway / merchant account / settlement bank, with cross-currency captures using Sage 300's standard exchange-rate revaluation tables for GL impact. Language localization: customer portal flows render in the recipient's language matched to the Sage 300 Company's locale. Receipt emails, surcharge disclosures, dunning communications all localize. Tax handling: Avalara for North American sales tax, native EU VAT for European entities, Singapore GST and Malaysia SST modules for those markets, all flowing into L3 enrichment cleanly. Compliance overlays: GDPR for EU customer data (residency, right-to-be-forgotten, consent capture), IFRS-aware multi-currency revaluation for global consolidation, full PCI DSS Level 1 service-provider posture across all jurisdictions.

Sage 300 modules, all touched by Payment Hub

Sage 300's module set, assembled across the three architectural rings, covers the full ERP functional reach. Payment Hub integrates across the major categories. Primary touch points are Financials, Order Entry / Inventory, and the global-business modules. Supporting touch points across the rest.

Payment Hub vs Sage 300's native Credit Card Processing, honest side-by-side

Sage 300's Credit Card Processing module ships with the platform and integrates with one of Sage's certified gateways. It works for simple invoice-payment scenarios, but for global businesses operating across multiple currencies, languages, and compliance regimes, the gap is wider than on Sage 100. Payment Hub is the gateway-agnostic alternative for Sage 300 customers who need multi-currency, multi-language, multi-jurisdiction flexibility.

Speak to a Platform Architect

How the integration works, Web API + SDK + ODBC + Web Screens

Payment Hub plugs into Sage 300 through the platform's published integration paths. Web API for modern REST-based real-time scenarios. SDK for .NET-based programmatic access. ODBC for direct database queries (across SQL Server / Oracle / Pervasive.SQL). Web Screens for embedded payment surfaces. No core Sage 300 modifications. Eight features that come online when Sage 300 gets Payment Hub:

Sage 300 Web API for real-time

REST-based programmatic access for real-time scenarios, token, charge, refund, void, AR Receipt creation, AR Invoice creation, Order Entry record updates. Modern API surface, JSON payloads, OAuth-style authentication. Same path Sage 300's own Web Screens use.

Sage 300 SDK (.NET)

For tighter integration scenarios where the Web API doesn't expose the right entry points. .NET-based programmatic access to the full Sage 300 object model. Used for complex multi-Company / multi-Currency posting scenarios and custom workflow integration.

ODBC across all three database backends

Sage 300's ODBC connectivity provides direct database access, across Microsoft SQL Server (most common), Oracle (Asia / EU deployments), and Pervasive.SQL (legacy). Payment Hub uses ODBC for high-volume read scenarios (daily settlement reconciliation, customer-portal data warehousing).

Multi-Company / multi-Currency routing

Each Sage 300 Company entity gets its own gateway, MID, bank account, currency, language, tax setup, country, surcharging policy, compliance overlay. Routing decisions happen on Company / Currency / Country fields. Scales to 100+ Companies on Sage 300 Premium.

Level III auto-enrichment

Pulls 20+ required L3 fields from Sage 300 Order Entry Detail (OEORDD), AR Invoice Detail (ARIBD), and PJC line records. Avalara and EU VAT tax data flows in cleanly. Mid-market Sage 300 customers commonly recover $15K–$300K+/yr depending on global card volume.

Language-localized customer portal

Embedded payment surface inside Sage CRM's customer portal renders in the recipient's language matched to Sage 300 Company locale. English, French, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, Spanish + Translation Overlay languages. Receipts and dunning localized to match.

Manufacturing / PJC integration

Subscribes to Sage 300 Manufacturing and Project Job Cost events. Project-milestone billing on PJC events. Production-status captures from Manufacturing module. Deposits at Order Entry held against PJC project records. Multi-Currency project consolidation.

Sage Intelligence / Crystal publishing

Payment events publish into Sage 300 as first-class data points. Sage Intelligence Reporting picks them up in Excel. Crystal Reports renders payment-aware reports. KPI Homepage Dashboard surfaces payment metrics, Alerts &. Workflows by Vineyardsoft can trigger on Payment Hub events.

The integration workflow, a global manufacturer on Sage 300 Premium across 8 countries, end to end

Walk through one realistic Sage 300 scenario. Halversen Industrial Group, a $185M Canadian-headquartered industrial-equipment manufacturer running Sage 300 Premium across 12 Company entities in 8 countries: Canada (HQ Toronto), United States (Chicago), United Kingdom (Manchester), Germany (Frankfurt), Mexico (Monterrey), Singapore (regional Asia HQ), China (Shanghai manufacturing), India (Bangalore engineering). 850 employees. Long-time Sage customer, originally on Accpac since 2002, upgraded to Sage 300 Premium in 2015. Heavy use of Order Entry, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Project Job Cost, Multicurrency, Intercompany Transactions, Sage CRM. Currency footprint includes CAD, USD, GBP, EUR, MXN, SGD, CNY, INR. Language footprint: English (primary), French (Quebec subsidiary), simplified Chinese (Shanghai), Spanish (Monterrey). Currently on a single Sage-certified gateway through one MID across all 12 entities, no L3 enrichment, no cross-currency routing, English-only portal. Eight steps showing how Payment Hub modernizes the global payment layer.

1

Singapore order, SGD 425,000 industrial-equipment package from a regional infrastructure customer

Halversen's Singapore subsidiary CSR takes a $425,000 SGD order from PowerGrid Asia Pacific (long-term Singapore customer): 18 line items, custom-configured industrial control systems with engineering work plus equipment. Sage 300 Premium creates the order in Company=07-HIG-SG (Halversen Industrial Group Singapore), Currency=SGD, Language=English. Custom fields capture the engineering project code. Singapore GST automatically calculated. Project Job Cost (PJC) project record opened to track engineering hours alongside the equipment portion.

2

PJC milestone deposit, 30% deposit due on engineering portion (SGD 51,000)

Halversen's standard PJC structure: 30% deposit on the engineering portion at project start, 40% on equipment shipment, 30% on commissioning sign-off. Sage 300 PJC calculates engineering portion = SGD 170,000 × 30% = SGD 51,000 deposit due. Payment Hub catches the PJC milestone-due event via Web API subscription. Sends a portal payment link to PowerGrid's AP team in Singapore. The Sage CRM customer portal renders in English (Singapore market) and offers payment in SGD.

Cross-currency routing, Singapore Visa Business card, SGD capture. Adyen APAC merchant account. CAD GL impact via Sage 300 multi-currency revaluation

PowerGrid AP pays via their Singapore-issued Visa Business card on the portal. Routing matrix: Company=07-HIG-SG, Currency=SGD → Adyen APAC merchant account (Halversen replaced the legacy Sage-certified gateway with Adyen for APAC operations), SGD capture, settlement to DBS Singapore. L3 enrichment fires from Sage 300 OEORDD line items. SG GST data flows in cleanly. Capture posts. Sage 300 multi-currency revaluation calculates the CAD impact at the day's SGD/CAD rate for consolidated reporting back to Toronto HQ. Cross-currency capture, no manual conversion.

4

AR Receipt creation via Web API, line-level cash application against PJC milestone

Capture confirms at Adyen. Payment Hub creates AR Receipt in Sage 300 via Web API: SGD 51,000 against PJC milestone DEP-SG-04217-M1, Adyen reference attached, Company=07-HIG-SG / Currency=SGD set. Custom field "Project Code" carries forward to the cash receipt. Halversen's existing workflow trigger on AR_Cash_Receipts (notify project manager when deposit received) fires as designed. Sage 300 AR aging refreshes. PowerGrid's outstanding balance updates. Multi-currency revaluation table captures the CAD-equivalent impact for consolidated reporting.

Manufacturing, Shanghai facility manufactures equipment. Engineering team in Bangalore configures controls (90 days)

Cross-entity production. Halversen's Shanghai manufacturing facility (Company=08-HIG-CN, Currency=CNY) builds the physical equipment using Sage 300 Manufacturing module. Bangalore engineering team (Company=09-HIG-IN, Currency=INR) configures the control systems. Intercompany Transactions module records the inter-entity flows in CAD (parent currency). After 90 days, Manufacturing module emits Production-Complete event. The equipment ships from Shanghai to Singapore. Order Entry shipping event fires.

Equipment-shipment milestone, SGD 170,000 second milestone (40%) auto-billed and captured

Order Entry shipping event triggers the second PJC milestone (40% on equipment shipment = SGD 170,000). Payment Hub catches the event via Web Screens hook. Portal sends payment link automatically. PowerGrid AP authorizes, capture posts on Adyen APAC again. Three weeks later, commissioning sign-off triggers the final milestone (30% = SGD 127,500), same flow. Total project paid: SGD 348,500 across 3 milestones, with cumulative L3 savings of ~SGD 4,200 from the line-level enrichment. Halversen's Singapore controller pulls a Sage Intelligence Excel report showing the project's payment timeline at one click.

Global rollout, Toronto / Chicago / Manchester / Frankfurt / Monterrey live, Shanghai / Bangalore last

Over 6 months, Halversen rolls Payment Hub out to all 12 Company entities across 8 countries. Each entity routes to its currency-matched merchant account: Worldpay North America for CAD / USD / MXN, Worldpay UK for GBP, Adyen Europe for EUR, Adyen APAC for SGD / CNY, Razorpay for INR. Each portal renders in the right language: English for Toronto / Chicago / Manchester / Singapore / Bangalore. French (with Translation Overlay) for the Montreal subsidiary. Simplified Chinese for Shanghai, Spanish for Monterrey. Cumulative L3 savings across all 12 entities in Year 1: $215K against Halversen's $42M global B2B card volume. Customer portal usage doubles.

Toronto consolidation, Sage Intelligence Reporting + KPI Homepage Dashboard surface global payment metrics

Halversen's Toronto CFO pulls quarterly board-review reports from Sage Intelligence Reporting (Excel-based, the standard reporting tool across the global business): "Global Payment Metrics by Entity, Q2 2026", L3 savings $58K, surcharge revenue (US/Canada only, where legal) $14K, dunning auto-recovery $22K, days-sales-outstanding improvement 6 days, customer-portal pay-rate 47% of B2B invoices. Multi-currency revaluation handled automatically through Sage 300's standard tables. KPI Homepage Dashboard surfaces all of this for each subsidiary controller in their local currency and language. Alerts &, Workflows by Vineyardsoft fires automated notifications to the regional finance VP when retry sequences exhaust. Plant-floor-to-top-floor visibility extends to global payment metrics with the Sage 300 reporting tools Halversen has used since their Accpac days.

Sage 100 vs Sage 300 vs Sage Intacct vs Sage X3

Sage 300 sits in Sage's global mid-market ERP tier, the natural step up from Sage 100 (North American SMB), differentiated from Sage Intacct (cloud-native financial management with strong North American focus) by its global multi-currency / multi-language / multi-country architecture, and the natural step down from Sage X3 (full mid-market global ERP with deeper manufacturing). For Sage 300 customers eventually moving up the Sage stack to Sage X3, or laterally to Sage Intacct, Payment Hub's configuration ports forward, same gateway connections, routing rules, surcharging, dunning, customer portal, L3 mappings, language overlays carry across the Sage product transition. The integration surface changes (Web API / SDK on Sage 300 → SOAP API on Sage X3 / REST API on Sage Intacct on the destination), but the application configuration carries forward without re-implementation.

Frequently asked questions about Sage 300 + Payment Hub

Answers to the most common questions from Sage 300 customers, Sage Business Partners, and IT teams planning payment modernization for their Sage 300 deployments.

Does Clarity Payment Hub integrate with Sage 300?

Yes. Clarity Payment Hub integrates with Sage 300 (formerly Sage ERP Accpac) through Sage 300's published integration paths: the Sage 300 Web API (modern REST-based interface), the Sage 300 SDK (.NET-based programmatic access), ODBC connectivity for direct database access (across Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or Pervasive.SQL backbones depending on deployment), and Sage 300 Web Screens for embedded payment surfaces.

Authentication via Sage 300's standard user authentication or dedicated integration users. Every transaction posts to Sage 300 in real time. Customer records, Order Entry orders, AR Invoices, AR Receipts, multi-Company data, and multi-Currency rate tables stay as the single source of truth in Sage 300. Works across Sage 300 Standard, Advanced, Premium, and Sage 300cloud.

Which Sage 300 editions does Payment Hub support?

All four. Sage 300 Standard (the entry edition, up to 5 companies / 5 users / 3 account segments / 7 years of financial history), Payment Hub integrates via Web API and SDK. Sage 300 Advanced (mid-tier, unlimited companies / up to 10 users / 4 account segments), same integration. Sage 300 Premium (top-tier, unlimited companies / unlimited users / 10 account segments / 99 years of financial history), same integration plus the option of optimized direct database queries on the SQL Server / Oracle backend for very-high-volume scenarios.

Sage 300cloud (cloud-deployed modern version), same integration model, with cloud-side outbound HTTPS connectivity. The integration code is identical across all four. What changes is the deployment process and the scale of multi-Company / multi-Currency activity each handles.

Does Payment Hub handle Sage 300's multi-currency capabilities?

Yes, this is the central use case for Sage 300. Sage 300's multi-currency module supports unlimited currencies, automatic exchange-rate revaluation, multi-currency bank accounts, and cross-currency consolidation. Payment Hub maps directly: each Sage 300 Company entity can route to its own currency-specific gateway / merchant account / settlement bank.

A single Sage 300 customer can authorize in EUR, capture in USD, settle in CAD, and post the GL impact through Sage 300's multi-currency revaluation tables, all in a single payment flow. Cross-currency cash application happens through Sage 300's standard Currency table (CSCURRRATE) and revaluation logic. Payment Hub doesn't bypass it. For Sage 300 customers with operations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, this enables true global card-acceptance without re-implementing in each country.

Does Payment Hub support Sage 300's multi-language capabilities?

Yes. Sage 300 ships with multi-language support across its module set: English, French, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, and Spanish are the natively supported languages, with Language Translation Overlays available for additional languages (Arabic, Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese variants depending on partner overlay).

Payment Hub embeds language-localized customer portal flows that match Sage 300's language settings, when an Asia-Pacific customer logs in to pay an invoice, they see the portal in simplified Chinese. A Quebec customer sees French. A Mexican subsidiary sees Spanish. Receipt emails, surcharge disclosures, dunning communications all render in the recipient's language. The Sage 300 invoice numbers, customer names, and item descriptions flow through unchanged. The wrapper UI localizes.

Does Payment Hub support Sage 300's multi-Company architecture and intercompany transactions?

Yes. Sage 300's multi-Company architecture (separate Company databases per legal entity, with the Intercompany Transactions module connecting them) maps directly into Payment Hub's location routing table. Each Sage 300 Company can have its own merchant ID, gateway, bank account, currency, language, tax setup, country, and compliance overlay.

The Sage 300 Premium edition's unlimited-Companies capacity (vs. Standard's 5-Company limit) means Payment Hub's routing matrix scales, multi-entity Sage 300 customers commonly run 25–100+ Company entries across global operations. Routing decisions happen on the originating transaction's Company code and Currency. Intercompany Transactions module entries (cross-Company AR / AP) can flow through Payment Hub for cross-Company internal settlement where appropriate.

How is this different from Sage 300's native Credit Card Processing module?

Sage 300 ships with the Credit Card Processing module, typically configured to integrate with one of Sage's certified gateways (historically Sage Payment Solutions / Paya, now Sage Pay or selected third-party processors). It works for simple invoice-payment scenarios but locks customers into the certified gateway. Most Sage 300 customers run single-gateway, single-MID across all Companies / Currencies, a particularly painful constraint for global businesses operating across 5–25 countries with different acquiring relationships.

No Level III interchange enrichment, no surcharging where legal, limited dunning, and a customer portal payment surface limited to Sage CRM or partner portals. Payment Hub is the gateway- and processor-agnostic alternative: pick any of 19+ gateways (Worldpay, Adyen, Fortis, PayTrace, Stripe, Authorize.Net, NMI, USAePay, plus regional acquirers in Asia / EU / LATAM, plus Sage-certified gateways if you want to keep them). Your existing merchant accounts, processors, and negotiated rates stay. Payment Hub also adds capabilities the native Credit Card Processing module doesn't ship.

Does Level III interchange optimization work for Sage 300 customers?

Yes. Sage 300 customers, especially those running Order Entry, Inventory Control, Project and Job Costing, and Manufacturing modules, typically have substantial B2B commercial-card volume that Sage 300's native Credit Card Processing handles at non-qualified or partially-qualified interchange. Payment Hub automatically pulls line-item data from Sage 300's Order Entry Detail (OEORDD), Invoice Detail (OEINVD), AR Invoice Detail (ARIBD), and Project Job Cost line records, then packages the 20+ required L3 fields per gateway / card-brand spec.

Tax data flows in cleanly from Avalara (Sage 300 integrates Sales Tax by Avalara as an add-on module). Typical Sage 300 customer with $5M in annual B2B card volume recovers $15K–$50K annually. Larger multi-Company / multi-Country Sage 300 customers with $25M+ commercial-card volume can recover $100K–$300K+.

Does Payment Hub work with Sage 300's compliance footprint, GAAP, IFRS, GDPR, Singapore / Malaysia tax modules?

Yes. Sage 300's compliance posture is one of its distinguishing global features, full GAAP compliance for North American customers, IFRS compliance for European and global customers, GDPR compliance for EU operations, plus dedicated tax modules for Singapore (GST) and Malaysia (SST) that Sage 300 ships out of the box.

Payment Hub respects each compliance overlay: GDPR-compliant data handling for EU customer data (data residency, right-to-be-forgotten, consent capture). SG GST and MY SST treated as first-class tax elements alongside Avalara-driven North American sales tax. IFRS-aware multi-currency revaluation flows. Full PCI DSS Level 1 service-provider posture across all jurisdictions. For Sage 300 customers running globally diversified operations, the compliance overlay is per-Company, per-Country, with the appropriate handling automatically selected based on the originating Sage 300 Company's region.

Does Payment Hub work across Sage 300's database options, SQL Server, Oracle, Pervasive.SQL?

Yes. Sage 300 supports three database backends depending on edition and deployment: Microsoft SQL Server (most common), Oracle (less common but supported, especially in Asia and EU), and Pervasive.SQL (the legacy backbone used by older deployments). Payment Hub's primary integration paths, Web API and SDK, are database-agnostic. They sit on Sage 300's application layer regardless of backend.

For ODBC scenarios (high-volume read for reconciliation, reporting), Payment Hub uses the appropriate ODBC driver per backend. Customers running Sage 300 Premium on SQL Server or Oracle get the optional optimized direct-query path for highest-volume scenarios. Customers on Pervasive.SQL stay on Web API / SDK. The integration code is the same across all three.

Does Payment Hub support Sage 300's manufacturing and project / job costing modules?

Yes. Sage 300's manufacturing module and Project Job Cost module drive the production / project lifecycle for Sage 300 customers in manufacturing, construction, professional services, and engineering verticals. Payment Hub adds the manufacturing- and project-specific payment patterns the native Credit Card Processing module doesn't ship: deposits at order entry held against Sage 300 PJC project records, milestone billing on project-status events, partial-shipment captures triggered by Order Entry shipping events, multi-Company project billing where a project crosses entities.

Project Job Cost line records feed L3 enrichment alongside Order Entry detail. The triggers come from Sage 300's existing manufacturing / PJC modules. Payment Hub interprets the events and runs the captures. For customers running Service / Maintenance Management or Return Material Authorization modules, similar event-driven payment patterns apply.

Does Payment Hub work with Sage CRM and the Sage 300 customer portal layer?

Yes. Sage 300 customers very commonly add Sage CRM (the integrated CRM that Sage offers as a tightly-bundled companion to Sage 300) for sales-team productivity, customer communications, and basic customer-portal capabilities. Payment Hub embeds an enhanced customer-portal payment surface on top of Sage CRM's portal: multi-invoice batch pay, stored credentials, ACH / direct debit / SEPA Direct Debit (EU customers), multi-currency, language-localized UI, surcharging disclosure, L3 enrichment on commercial cards.

The Sage CRM portal continues to render and authenticate normally. Only the payment slice is Payment Hub. For Sage 300 + Sage CRM customers running global B2B portals with major customer accounts (common in Distribution, Manufacturing, Professional Services), this unifies the payment experience across all currencies and languages, reduces manual ACH / wire processing, and brings the L3 savings benefit to portal-side flows.

What's the implementation timeline for Sage 300?

A typical Payment Hub + Sage 300 integration goes live in 48 hours once Clarity receives Sage 300 test environment access (Web API credentials, SDK access, ODBC connection details for read access where applicable), gateway credentials, and your baseline routing configuration.

For multi-Company / multi-Currency Sage 300 customers (the majority of Sage 300 deployments), pilot with one Company / Currency in the first 48 hours, then add additional entities in subsequent batches over 4–8 weeks. For customers running Sage 300 Premium with 25+ Companies across multiple countries, the rollout schedule typically spans the global geographic footprint over 3–6 months, with Payment Hub configuration carrying forward consistently. For Accpac → Sage 300 → Sage 300cloud migration scenarios, Payment Hub deploys on the current version. The migration adds the cloud-side connectivity when ready, and the configuration ports forward. Existing Sage 300 customizations, Sage CRM integration, Intercompany Transactions setup, multi-currency revaluation rules, and language overlays all stay intact.
