The server that Sitefinity is run on needs to be either Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows Azure. It can be run on a 32 or 64 bit operating system.
