The Client

CPAmerica International is one of the largest associations of CPAs and CPA firms based on the annual revenue of the member firms. It is a member of Crow Horwath International, and promotes a community of "Improving through Sharing." This association has 3,379 partners which make up 28,275 employees across 109 different countries. It needed a solution that helped manage this robust membership base while keeping options and interfaces simple for administration and members.

Existing Problems

CPAmerica's previous website was underperforming in a few core areas. First and foremost, the membership management itself was subpar and affecting CPAmerica's ability to properly administer and market to its community. The front end design was also lacking, deterring new members from signing up online. Another glaring component missing from the site was something that has been a huge paradigm shift in how organizations communicate with its members: social media and social website integration.

Our Solutions

Clarity delivered a custom developed membership directory and community website that exceeded the initial expectations of the project. In addition to state-of-the-art member management capabilities, the new website included important communications elements such as a live twitter feed of the CPAmerica member list on the home page. This Twitter integration was designed to fit the scheme of the site in order to achieve continuity. The site also included a custom content hierarchy and management system controlling news, events, conferences, meetings, webinars, and more all from a single portal.

The Benefits

CPAmerica's new website provides the association with a better system for managing the organization online, for users to sign in and be tied into the latest news, and for new prospective members to learn about the association and reach out for more information. The new professional design provides CPAmerica with a better look and interface for both administrators, members, and visitors alike. The Twitter integration gives everyone on the site quick access to what is happening around the association. Overall, the website refresh gives CPAmerica more power than ever to increase its dominance in the industry and to reach its potential.
