Don’t know the name? You know their companies (i.e. Legoland, Madame Tussauds Wax Museums, Sea Life, and more). Second in size and success only to Disney, Merlin Entertainments PLC is a British company headquartered in Poole, Dorset which operates 105 attractions, 11 hotels and 3 holiday villages in 23 countries.


Existing Problems

Always comparing and competing with Disney, Merlin had been checking out some of Disney’s websites and found one that Clarity had built. They contacted Clarity, wanting us to build them some marketing website as well. They wanted a site where users could buy season passes to multiple venues and save money.

Our Solutions

Clarity ended up designing and building three websites for Merlin Entertainment over the course of two years and are in discussions to build another. is just one of the many sites we’ve built for Merlin. It allows users to sign up for newsletters, pre-purchase season and discounted tickets and much more.

The Benefits

Simple, clean, easy to use, optimized for SEO, Clarity’s websites for Merlin Entertainment deliver just the right amount of content and navigation for their visitors to help drive and increase pre-sold tickets to their venues. A calculator shows the savings a user can get by purchasing their tickets to multiple venues ahead of time. Signing up for the newsletter keeps their users up to speed on deals and new attractions.




Clarity built the site using WordPress, for ease of management by the Merlin team. We used HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP for any animation and customizations.
